Job Purpose -
The Parts Salesman is responsible for the counter sales to retail customers for the Automotive division.
Key Accountabilities:-
- Follow policies and procedures involving invoicing of cash and credit sales
- Handle counter parts quotations
- Maintain inventory records of sales and microfiche records of parts
- Search for part number in electronic catalogue with the use of VIN for accuracy
- Contact the customer to notify the arrival of parts specially ordered or parts customer was interested in before and where not available at a time
- Provide maximum technical support to increase customer knowledge in benefits of using genuine parts on his vehicle
