The Roles of the GIS Developer/ Specialist shall be, but not limited to the following:
a) Development of user required applications and/or customize existing applications within the GIS solution based on analysis and design documents provided.
b) Performing technical acceptance testing.
c) Obtaining user’s approval of the developed/customized functions and features.
d) Providing technical assistance to GIS users.
e) Investigate technical problems and provide solution form GIS software package.
f) Designing purpose oriented GIS geo-processing workflows.
g) Delivering on-site knowledge transfer sessions to GIS users.
h) Implementing customization for both ArcGIS Server Application and Desktop.
i) Running analysis using ArcGIS Desktop extensions: 3D, Spatial and network analysis.
j) Developing GIS tools and standalone applications.
k) Performing GIS system installation, configuration and tuning.
l) Acting as GIS support /helpdesk Engineer.
