Job Summary:
Responsible to educate students about the fundamental concepts of music theory such as rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct exercises like vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments.
- Lead rehearsals in preparation for the school’s musical performances.
- Prepare and implement the lesson plan for students throughout the school year.
- Engage with students and foster an interactive learning environment.
- Demonstrate creative teaching strategies to enhance students’ musical talents.
- Responsible to prepare student grades based on written and practical examinations.
- Record and monitor student attendance.
- Mentors students as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of prior experience in teaching music as a subject of study.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education
- Must be license/Certification to teach music is an added advantage
