· Shall manage and coordinate with the shift Instrumentation team to complete the planned maintenance related activities.
· Co-ordinate with Maintenance Instrumentation engineer and shift Instrumentation technicians for smooth O&M of facility.
· Shall work in day shift as well as "on call" basis whenever required for Instrumentation maintenance works.
· Shall be fully experienced in handling the process trips and various levels of shutdowns.
· Shall be fully experienced in equipment interlocks, cause & effects and logics.
- Provides guidance and support in troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of instrumentation systems and equipment in the plant such as DCS, ESD system, F&G system, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, indicators, control systems, etc.
· Shall perform the maintenance works in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.
· Shall be fully experienced in preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
· Shall be fully experienced in all kinds of instrumentation calibration and testing.
· Shall be fully experienced in fine tuning of instruments.
· Shall be aware of and knowledgeable in all kinds of permit to work systems and LOTO procedures.
· Shall be aware of in plant operations and sequence of operations (process and utilities).
· Coordinate with the shift maintenance team for day to day activities and fix instrumentation related defects on priority basis.
· Responsible for maintaining calibration records and necessary testing apparatus.
· Shall be responsible for major repairs and ordering of replacement spares.
· Responsible for updating and maintaining all instrumentation maintenance records of the facility.
· Ensures that all instrumentation maintenance services are done safely and efficiently in accordance with the internationally recognized engineering standards.
· Responsible for following up and timely completion of preventative maintenance.
· Shall coordinate with other discipline supervisors for timely completion of planned works.
