Job Responsibilities:
Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital and Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (KACCH & BACCH) is looking for committed, experienced, and skillful professionals to support with the delivery of pediatric palliative medical and psychosocial care to children and their families. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
1. Senior Registrar
Board certified in Pediatrics. Experience in oncology, neurology, and palliative medicine is preferable. A valid practice license from the Kuwait Ministry of Health is required.
2. Registrar
Board certified in Pediatrics. Experience in oncology, neurology, and palliative medicine is preferable. A valid practice license from the Kuwait Ministry of Health is required.
3. Nurse
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing with an experience in pediatric nursing preferably in palliative care. A valid practice license from the Kuwait Ministry of Health is required.
4. Play Leader
A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in child development, early childhood/elementary education, nursery nurse, psychology, social sciences, liberal arts of health-related field. 2 years of professional experience directly working with children such as teaching, pediatric nursing, nurseries, etc.
5. Child Life Specialist
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in child life, child development or family systems. A minimum 2 years of professional experience as a certified Child Life Specialist and international experience in professional or volunteer in healthcare setting.
6. Child Life Specialist II
A Child Life Specialist II is responsible for the implementation of an evidence-based practice and comprehensive Child Life services for children and their families. They support and lead the Child Life Programs within the hospitals in Kuwait. Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Child Development, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience. Certification from the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP).
