Job Purpose:
The Janitorial Services Supervisor manages the cleanliness of the whole Factory exclusively and branches whenever needed.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares the cleaning staff schedule to ensure that the Factory is kept clean through appropriate planning and organization of staff.
• Implements Master-Cleaning schedule.
• Manages the cleaning activities of:
- Production Areas
- Machineries
- Public Areas
- Windows and Ceilings
- Admin Premises
• Fill all paper works of the Hygiene and Safety (Cleaning Check Lists, etc.)
• Coaching and training of staff, in order to improve performance and to achieve the department’s objectives and targets.
• Daily check up on the cleanliness of all factory machinery and equipment.
• Ensures the proper practices are being adopted in the store from Food safety, food and equipment sanitation, and personal hygiene in all factory internal and external areas.
• Observes compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Reports and Follows up on pending maintenance needed for broken tiles, cracks, etc. and ensures prompt repairs.
• Implement and train staff on integrating proper cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene habits
• Rotation schedule of new employees and trainees.
• Assigns tasks and responsibilities to subordinates and validate their job descriptions.
• Responds to urgent cleaning request (when VIP visitors are in view).
• Clears and cleans water drainage and sewage systems in a preventive and corrective approach.
• Analyses stains and uses suitable cleaning method and detergents.
• Makes purchase order for cleaning equipment and materials.
• Controls consumption of detergents and cleaning materials.
• Coordinates and follow-up with third parties
• Performs and oversees some of landscape activities.
• Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Technical Skills degree in Hospitality Management with an emphasis on hygiene and safety.
• 3 years of experience in similar position.
• Read, speak, and write Arabic and English.
• Problem solver, excellent communicator and negotiator and marketing oriented.
