Bakers use their understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create baked goods. They measure and mix raw ingredients, bake, and decorate items, and ensure that all raw and finished products adhere to quality and food safety standards.
Design, execute and improve recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
Enhance the decorations, presentations, arrangement of display case in an appealing manner.
Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, and heating equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, breads, cakes, etc.
Testing ingredients and finished product to ensure that each item meet food safety and quality control.
To ensure that packaging is secure, presentable, and neat.
Ensure equipment in good working conditions through personal inspection and by following the preventative maintenance programs
Inspect working conditions and temperatures of all kitchen equipment such as freezers, refrigerators, heating equipment, etc. daily; disassemble and clean machinery on regular basis to ensure proper functioning of the same.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation by constantly cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment by following the cleaning checklist and cleaning calendar.
Monitor stock levels, keep track of items’ stock to avoid any shortage of stock, replenish food supplies and condiments and maintain inventory stock level and notify the manager for food shortages,
Keep a record of deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
Stay customer focused and nurture an excellent customer experience by producing a high-quality product.
Handle customers with the smile and graciously attend to complaints to ensure customers satisfaction
