The Security Architect is responsible for ensuring that Agility's information systems are protected from external and internal threats. The incumbent must be exceptionally keen on anticipating possible security risks, identifying areas of weakness, and responding effectively to possible security breaches; and must possess the ability to think like a hacker, able to keep pace with methods and tactics employed in gaining unauthorized access to computer systems.
Your Responsibilities
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, and design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emergeCreate solutions that balance business requirements and technology strategy with information and cyber security requirementsConduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for network, web applications, mobile applications, and/or thick-client applicationConduct configuration reviews for OS, DB, Firewall, Routers, Switches and other infrastructure componentsConduct source-code review using automated and manual approaches, develop scripts for test and evaluation of mitigation controlsEnsure compliance with security assurance standards, and security best practices and principlesKeep abreast on the latest IT Security news, exploits, and emerging principles and technologiesWork independently and also collaborate closely with incident responders, SOC analysts, L2 Support and others
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in ITMaster's Degree in Cybersecurity, a plusRequired certifications - GPEN or OSCPOther Information Systems Security certificationsMinimum 4 years' relevant experience in security architecture
Your Proficiencies
Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs and technology projectsAbility to be the enterprise security subject matter expert able to explain technical topics to non-expertsWorking knowledge of security architecturesGood understanding of cloud security architectural design & technologies, incident response processes, and cyber-attack vectorsExpertise in offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testingProficiency in frameworks such as Metasploit, PowerSploit, etc.Familiarity with manual and automated security testing of applicationsSkills to investigate intrusions, identify malicious activity, and potential insider threatsStrong background on multiple operating systems, databases, applications, scripting language and platformsKnowledge of application design, development and testing techniques, security code reviewsExperience with Netflow or PCAP analysisAnalytical/Critical/Advanced thinking and problem solving skills
