• Overseeing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, inventory Management and wastage control and producing baked goods
• Decorating and plating various pastries and desserts, keeping the kitchen organized and developing and testing new recipes.
• Mixing ingredients for dessert recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes.
• Ensuring that all Bakery products are consistently baked to the highest standards.
• Bending, lifting and reaching repeatedly in a confined space for extended periods of time.
• Weighing ingredients with a digital kitchen scale.
• Decorates cakes and pastries with designs, using icing bag or handmade paper cone: Trims uneven surfaces of cake or cuts and shapes cake to required size, using knife.
