• Verify the angles, curves, dimensions and levels.
• Check the formwork alignments, concrete level, ground information level and all other levels requirements of the project as the work progresses.
• Conduct all measurements needed to meet survey requirements and calculations at survey sites with accuracy.
• Utilize and maintain all necessary equipment properly.
• Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
• Examine all previous survey records for important/helpful information for each job.
• Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys
• Assisting site engineers/foreman with all levels/coordinates information.
• Building and services setting out, plotting the axis for the building and services, marking the axis and levels during the construction, check excavation level/foundation level and ensure that work is proceeding in compliance with the contract levels.
• Report any accidents of hazardous conditions to the safety engineer and follow safe working methods.
