Role purpose summary:
In charge of reviewing applications from clients for the services provided by the organization, and screening the level of financial risk which will reflect in the pricing and terms & conditions that potential and existing clients pose to the company.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team
• Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement
• Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance
• Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives
• Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
• Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
• Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, cost and schedule
• Coordinate with internal and external customers as necessary
• Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance
• Suggest and organize team building activities
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operation
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Maintain healthy group dynamics
• Increase productivity by implementing new effective strategies.
• Lead and manage through influence vs. direct authority: It is critical that the individual be able develop needed results through others.
• Ensure effective and timely completion of tasks
• Mentor against service level agreement and undertake remedial action when required
