Role Purpose
Directly supervise all waiters, runners and table setters, coaching them on a daily basis throughout their shift routine with the common purpose of creating a memorable experience for our guests and to act as an effective link between senior management and the staff. With Reception manage table returns, guest flow, and guest satisfaction. Actively ensure SOPs are implemented correctly, updated as needed, and ensure all FOH staff are trained in SOPs and meet company standards accordingly.
Role Attributes
This person must feel comfortable as a mentor and coach and should be very diplomatic and customer focused. This person is sensitive to the needs of the business and the welfare of the staff in the restaurant. They act as a channel between the Floor and Restaurant Manager and the wait staff and need to be impartial and level-headed with no tendencies towards favouritsm or discrimation in any form.
