• Lead all day-to-day aspects of an individual bid, and be involved in every aspect of the submission.
• Work closely with a core team while bringing in subject matter experts, when required.
• Liaise with estimators who produce the price element of each bid.
• Oversee implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes.
• Attend proposal kick-off meetings, participate in storyboard sessions, attend review meetings / final document review, managing document governance / sign off, print production and timely delivery of the completed proposal.
• Liaise with the Business Development Manager to manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities.
• Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from business development, projects, finance, commercial, and legal.
• Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the client.
• Manage the bid budget.
• Track and manage risk throughout the bid process.
• Ensure proposal documents follow standard formatting and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent branding for all company specific documents
• Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
