• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) as applicable.
• Performs difficult and complex field engineering assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of a construction project.
• Establishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff. Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
• Organizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final project turnover and report.
• Typical products may include horizontal and vertical roadway alignment, super-elevation and drainage calculations, construction drawings, detour drawings, signing and marking drawings, erosion control drawings, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
