1. Production Coordination: Schedule and coordinate flow of work within manufacturing sections to expedite production; review master production schedule and work orders establishing priorities for specified production works; revise schedule according to work order specification; revise and reschedule orders to compensate for rush order priorities, material shortages, vendor failure to deliver or client cancelations
2. Relationship Management: Distribute work orders to sections noting down number, type, and proposed completion date of production units; refer to department manager to determine the progress of work and provide feedback on any process changes received from engineering; summarize labor hours and material costs on each job and submit accordingly to production manager
3. Documentation & Quality Assurance: Reschedule identical processes and eliminate duplicate setups; generate reports concerning work progress and downtime due to machine and equipment malfunction/failure; maintain inventory of materials and parts needed for continuous flow of operations; Coordinate with QC for all outside material. equipment and machine tests
