Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervising other managers and staff
• Coordinating day to day business operations
• Developing business strategies in line with the company's Five years strategic plan
• Reviewing the overall profitability of the existing business
• Working directly with clients
• Overseeing, the budgets and making adequate recommendations
• Setting goals for an entire department or division based on the company's plans
• Suggest expenses control plans, policies, and procedures and monitor their implementation
• Hiring and firing staff
• Make presentations to top executive staff
• Developing new business opportunities
• Writing reports on business operations for the executive staff
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of all reports and data required by the BOD within the company.
• Ensure opportunities to raise the business performance of the company as well as the company's reputation, are identified and fully capitalized on
• Establish and periodically analyze Key Performance Indicators and continually monitor the company performance against the agreed targets
• Ensure continuous development and improvement of business processes to ensure optimal use of available resources
• Ensure the implementation of policies, procedures and internal controls as set out by the Corporate
• Provide leadership and inspiration to the the company’s staff, ensuring employees take pride in meeting and surpassing individual and departmental objectives
• Monitor market trend and changes as well as competitors in the market, and recommends proactive and corrective actions to mitigate risks associated with external threats
• Continuously, adding new business/product lines to the company based on market needs analysis
Reporting:
• Direct reporting to the CEO on all business related matters and reporting to the BOD on strategic matters like, adding new business lines, financial reports, audit reports…etc
Talent Management
• Select, develop, motivate and retain a Leadership Team capable of achieving the business objectives of the company.
• Provide leadership to the company's team and foster a culture of team spirit, co-operation and continuous self-development.
• Ensure the company is seen as an attractive and exciting long term career choice for all the company's staff
• Ensure performance evaluation/appraisal to assess the productivity and progress of direct reports
• Lead and guide subordinates by providing them with technical guidance, training and the required growth opportunities to ensure that subordinates are developed for higher-level roles.
