Strategic:
1. Develop and maintain the cleaning services plan including research on cost effective cleaning contractors, equipment, products, and pest control
2. Establish a property-wide cleaning plan including standards and specifications taking into consideration the cleaning methods and techniques for the various floors, carpets, walls, and all other equipment etc.,
3. Prepare reports for the analysis and evaluation of cleaning service contractors and provide cost effective and best quality recommendations to management
4. Prepare and present cleaning annual budget and performance report to Senior Manager, Facilities Management
5. Prepare and conduct a cleaning training program for new cleaning personnel, when required

Operational:
1. Establish and maintain cleaning services policies and procedures as part of the Facilities Management policies and procedures manual
2. Conduct supervision responsibilities in adherence to guidelines as indicated in Facilities Management policy and procedures; ensure that supervision guidelines are being adhered to by cleaning services area controllers and contracted personnel at all times
3. Conduct the selection of sub-contractors for cleaning services including performance and progress report on the utilization of subcontractors and obtain approval from Senior Director-Facilities,
4. Prepare contracts for agreements with external entities, i.e., cleaning services contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure that Alghanim industries rights in such agreements are protected from a legal perspective
5. Assist in resolving any issues raised by contractors (e.g. requirements for time extensions, change order requests, variations etc., ); inform the Facilities Management Executive Manager of any discrepancies identified against contract documents and make recommendations where appropriate
6. Report and communicate all incidents, difficulties and/or inquiries to cleaning contractors
7. Address and deal with complaints or concerns from company employees, business units, visitors, vendors and/or suppliers
8. Supervise cleaning services and pest control inspection and evaluation on a daily basis.
9. Oversee and manage the cleaning services schedules, reports and inspections for all facilities and premises in different locations.
10. Prepare routine check plans, schedule and assign duties to head cleaners and/or contractors including time and cost estimates for all cleaning activities; Conduct quality inspections on all cleaning throughout the locations and facilities
11. Manage and assign duties to all cleaning supervisors and schedule shifts, rotations, leave, assigned posts and necessary training
12. Manage stock availability of all cleaning material, supplies and equipment; Make orders, when necessary
13. Check materials delivered for compliance with contract requirements
14. Prepare Cleaning Services section Performance and progress Report including variations in design/ construction and issue logs/ analysis
15. Ensure employee and contracted cleaning personnel awareness of policies and procedure of additional efforts required, policies and procedures during all types of events and irregular activities
