Position Overview:
Ensure collection of debts due to company in a timely manner. Perform all collection activities for the customer accounts assigned in accordance with the company’s credit policy and practices in a manner that will result in maximum sales, sound receivables and their prompt conversion to cash.
Duties:
• Provides customer service regarding collection issues, processes customer refunds, processes and reviews account adjustments, resolves client discrepancies and short payments
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos
• Provides receipt for the collection payments received
• Communicates & follows up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
• Follow-up on payment commitments
• Contacts customers and informs them on the collections overdue and visits them for collecting the payment
