Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Strategy Formulation
- Develop strategic objectives and KPIs for
the Marketing Department and ensure that the Marketing Department employees
are working towards the achievement of these objectives.
- Review the operating results of the Marketing Department and follow-up to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient results.
Budget & Cost Control
- Develop the Marketing Department annual
budget and ensure all employees are working within the assigned budget by
setting the required targets and responsibilities.
- Manage all expenses incurred
under the activities of the Marketing Department, ensuring alignment of the
same with the allocated budget, and reporting any deviations or requests for
additional funding to the Director.
Policies & Procedures
- Develop and ensure implementation of the Marketing Department policies and procedures in order to achieve objectives.
Market Research
Oversee the performance of market research on a continuous basis to obtain information related to:
- Initiate studies to understand and analyze the market competition and provide reports to build and maintain the company image and brand.
- Oversee external market research firms that will conduct market research and analyse the same to identify the current market condition, competitor’s status and to develop and implement plans and projects for new and existing products and share research with the senior management department for future consideration.
- Competitors (to identify competitors’ overall market share, insurance product price schemes, sales figures, and methods of marketing).
- Customers’ preferences and needs
(to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand)Assess external market research findings in order to:
Analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT)
- Identify new market trends and opportunities
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing,
advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
- Manage the preparation of market
research reports, customer satisfaction surveys, market segments, purchase
trends and competitors analysis.
- Provide recommendations of adding or improving the company’s products in addition to participation in developing the products and predicting the possibility of its promotion in the market. Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by management.
Marketing Management
- Lead the marketing effort in order to attract and retain customers by identifying, interpreting and profitably satisfying the market needs.
- Develop marketing plans and campaigns in
coordination with all departments regarding products and projects and supervise the implementation of the same after being approved.
- Manage marketing campaigns, ensure
coordination with sales activities and measure the effectiveness of implemented campaigns.
- Ensure the information provided by the provided by Retail Department regarding products are accurate in order to improve and enhance the stated products.
- Attend presentations of marketing and
advertising agencies; acknowledge new and creative marketing concepts and
make necessary recommendations to the Top Management.
- Collaborate with different marketing and
design agencies to detail specific marketing requirements to assist in the marketing and launching new products.
- Analyze the market in order to identify consumer requirements to develop marketing material related to these requirements and increase the market share of Products.
- Coordinate with Public Relations department regarding Sponsorship events and social media related issues to ensure
respective brand awareness.
- Ensure the maintenance and updating of the information on the company`s website in coordination of the Public Relations to ensure the liability & accuracy of all company`s data resources.
Relationship Management
- Liaise and network with internal/external customers and media through the effective participation of organization of conferences, seminars, gatherings, exhibitions, etc…).
