We are looking for a bright Fleet Supervisor who truly outclass in the techniques of logistics and fleet operations. The Fleet Supervisor will supervisor as well as coordinate activities of the drivers engaged in handling and delivering the packages with assigned timings. The job duties and responsibilities will be as follows;
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the repair and maintenance operation of all vehicles
• Counsel couriers; develop/implement/monitor adherence to policies and procedures; answer telephonic and written correspondence; interview courier candidates; prepare couriers evaluations.
• Coordinate vehicle concerned issues with the Operation Manager
• Coordinate usage of company automated systems for pickups and deliveries
• Develop/run/analyze productivity and operational reports
• Research and develop specifications for vehicles, equipment, supplies and materials
• Plan/develop and execute a vehicle and equipment replacement schedule
• Determine the need and benefits of out-sourcing vehicle repairs or services
• Maintain equipment records in accordance with region and state local laws, policy or regulation; inventory state inspection
• Prepare Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly State Police Inspection Report
• Identify/coordinate training needs for new employees
• Evaluation of drivers discipline assessment
• Assist in setting leave schedules and work schedules for drivers
• Perform system backups; resolve operating errors and software related problems
• Perform related work as required and other duties as assigned
• Reporting: You will be reporting directly to the Operation Manager and COO when required
