1. Ensure achievement of sales targets which have been set; Take corrective measures where required
2. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
3. Ensure minimization of costs by tracking the utilization of printing paper, carry bags, etc. at the store
4. Build a connection with the customers and understand customer needs
5. Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment for customers
6. Ensure minimization of shrinkage levels in the department/s; Recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
7. Manage customer relationships by making significant efforts for resolution of their issues
8. Assist customers in selecting the merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
9. Adhere to mystery shopping standards and constantly endeavor to improve the mystery shopping scores
10. Track customer satisfaction by soliciting feedback to evaluate and improvise upon the current service levels
11. Ensure that the store is clean including shelves, counters, and tables.
12. Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns; Verify the same with the bill produced by the customer
13. Ensure that visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to and standards are maintained and provide inputs to the visual merchandiser on the same
14. Provide execution support in placing the products, fixtures, attaching tags to products etc. as per guidelines
15. Execute operational procedures effectively like filling checklists about VM, operations, etc. and reporting each day’s sales in server
16. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
