Job Responsibilities:
- Execute job orders and plan production.
- Develop maintenance standards, production schedules and programs.
- Analyze cost of production
- Supervise production staff and technicians.
- Knowledge of handling production, finishing line, wooden carpentry machines and painting equipment’s.
- Fabricate the products in high quality finished goods.
- Coordinate with technical, production, material & administration departments.
- Identify and correct fire and other hazards.
- Propose development of production and quality control policies, procedures and plans.
- Execution of short-term & long-term production goals.
- Schedule daily, weekly, monthly production activities based on orders & ensure availability of raw materials.
- Responsible to train the team on policies & procedures; inspect the production process to ensure specified procedures are accurately followed.
- Supervise quality control procedures & ensure all products meet the specified criteria.
- Ensure production efficiency through minimization of waste and optimum utilization of resources.
- Determine raw material requirement on a Daily/ weekly basis; follow-up on request and verify delivery of goods.
- Scrutinize production costs & implement cost-effective measures in coordination with the Finance department.
- Prepare a production budget to be reviewed by the management.
- Improvise existing production procedures in coordination with management.
- Assist supervisor and the teams with any technical snags.
- Conduct reviews with the production team to assure productions goals are accurately met; rectify deviations if any.
- Responsible for job rotation & staff vacation planning.
- Coordinate between the creative and technical teams.
- Ability to facilitate and mediate between varied departments each with unique needs. Self-motivated and dynamic.
