To lead all aspects of supervision, maintenance, and disposal as well as warehouse operations for the company; organize the overall equipment distribution - ensuring maximum utilization for the company’s fleet.
1. Maintain an updated list of approved vendors in coordination with Business Development department
2. Report the equipment conditions to the direct manager with all required resolutions related to the equipment.
3. Liaise with and participate in the negotiation with suppliers regarding discounts, payment terms and delivery period, in the interest of company and its customers
4. Control the finding of equipment and associated spare parts, in line with Company’s policies
5. Supervise the equipment operational activities related to receipt, storage and distribution of equipment, materials, parts and supplies
6. Instruct and coordinate with shipping agents etc. for prompt dispatch of imported equipment and upon receipt,
7. Ensure that all equipment specifications (weight, size, etc.) are in line with purchase order
8. Carry out registration procedures of imported equipment including customs clearance to ensure timely delivery
9. Safeguard equipment in the warehouse by establishing and monitoring security procedures and coordinate with maintenance team members to ensure that equipment are ready to be deployed upon request
10. Synchronize all procurement and warehouse activity against demand ensuring limited dead stock/ unutilized equipment across the entire supply chain
11. Review and monitor inventory levels of both equipment fleet and their spare parts on a periodic basis.
12. Ensure proper installation of equipment as required, as per equipment usage handbook and ensure that necessary
13. Tests are conducted and accepted by clients while handing over/ commissioning the equipment
14. Plan and arrange for the disposal of obsolete equipment by negotiating sale to interested clients/ parties.
15. Maintain track record of the movement of equipment’s, useful lives, and examination dates etc. and generate periodic
16. Reports on deployment/ utilization of equipment fleet including equipment performance to support management decisions.
