To assist in conducting all financial accounting transactions in compliance with Client’s policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and international financial and accounting reporting standards.
1. Assist in maintaining all applicable books of accounts for applicable Client funds, investment portfolios and companies to ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
2. Update the book of account in i-Flex for assigned and all applicable client funds, investment portfolios on a daily basis, calculating the Net Asset Value (NAV) on weekly basis in order to submit the same to fund custodian (Kuwait Clearing Company) for approval and submission of financial report to the regulatory authorities and management in a timely manner.
3. Assist in managing petty cash as per Client guidelines.
4. Support the collection of the financial data from the respective operation department for accounting. Passing entries in the books of accounts through I-Flex on daily basis for assigned Branches.
5. Contribute to the reconciliation of all applicable loans, settlement, bank accounts on daily basis in order to check the accuracy of the financial data.
6. Coordinate with local GCC Investment Department and Custodian for the approval of the fund's NAV in order to expedite and facilitate the process.
7. Follow up with Counter for weekly subscription and redemption for all applicable funds and update the books accordingly accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Submit all applicable monthly financial reports (B/S, Income Statement, Available for Sale of Investment, and Investment at fair value through P/L) and any other financial information to CMA and KSE in a timely manner.
