1. To supervise and manage all Quality Assurance (QA)/QC functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors for day to day QA/QC functions.
2. To identify/ access the QC requirement for the project (Ex. Resources, procedures, documentation etc., ) and liaise with Project QC Manager/ Operation and QC Department for its compliance
3. To conduct inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements.
4. To interface and coordinate with Operation and Clients for QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
5. To prepare Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) according to project requirements and client specifications; follow-up for its approval.
6. To plan and supervise Subcontractor inspection activities and reviews of Sub Contractor QC performance.
7. To supervise staff for reporting, recording and inspection activities
8. Preparation of Final Handing over dossier and maintain proper filling system (as per Company procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document
9. To act as a focal and coordination point for ISO internal and external audits and to conduct internal and operation audits
10. To have a proactive approach in problem solving in their respective discipline
11. To apply good practical knowledge in interpretation of Standards and Codes used in the respective discipline of specialization (Ex. Civil, Piping, Pressure Vessel, Special structural jobs, Electrical, Instrumentation etc., )
12. To undertake preparation of Final QC dossier/ Manufactures Record Book as applicable for handing over to the Client and maintain proper filing system (as per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the QC document
13. To act as one of the main focal point and also for coordinating during ISO & ASME (if applicable) Internal and External audits; perform internal and operation audits of various Coded jobs
14. To apply knowledge and experience in all QC related activities in Plumbing, HVAC, static& rotating equipment installation, Fire fighting system and Painting
15. To undertake verification of Piping and pipeline Test packages
16. To coordinate Non Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and review of NDT reports
17. To read and interpret the various drawings used in the projects for executing the work.
