1. Develop and manage the Resource Planning function for services and materials demanded.
2. Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
3. Create integrated processes to execute the planning/replenishment process.
4. Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems.
5. Evaluate potential suppliers on the basis of price, quality, and speed of delivery
6. Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts.
7. Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting.
8. Improve and enhance the accuracy of Order Delivery lead times.
9. Manage procurement and related issues as and when they arise.
10. Coordination of direct deliveries from suppliers to destination.
11. Manage all sourcing projects: identify and assess vendors, price negotiation and establish a reliable vendor base as per corporate norms.
12. Negotiation and improvement of current supplier terms and conditions to fulfill organizational requirements.
13. Ensure department particulars of cost control, import/export, tariffs and licenses are within acceptable norms.
