As Manager you will be tasked to master Xcite ecommerce operations and their performances with internal and external partners.
The main aim is to lead the Kuwait and Saudi Arabia activities (Order Processing and Consolidating, Routing and Fleet Control, Orders Reconciliation and Reverse Processing, Customer Support) to drive maximum quality, service and efficiency while achieving the lowest cost of operation.
The role of the Operations Manager is a business role aiming to bring Xcite ecommerce operations to a top class level and to analyse & manage operation spending to continually find opportunities to optimize and reduce costs and improve service.
Essential Job Roles:
• Lead the Kuwait and Saudi Arabia teams of internal employees, Xcite support functions and 3rd parties, for the operation’s functions as order processing, administrative tasks (cash reconciliation, delivery / re-schedule, cancellations and refunds, fleet and routing optimization) with the goal to improve the level of services.
• Manage and optimize the services offered to Customers for home delivery, pick in store, pick in pick-point location (owned or third parties) for all products like C&C (cash and carry), support for D&I (delivery and installation) and digital (no shipment required), with opening for new/future services the company may adopt
• Be the champion in managing the cost of structure and deliveries, aiming to reduce costs and increase the efficiency and the effectiveness of the services
• Set targets and communicate business results and KPIs
• Work with all stakeholders to continuously improve performances
• Analyse and propose new models for speeding up the delivery to Customers and to introduce new services or re-modelling the current ones
• Daily reporting for the major KPI’s (e.g. number of order processed, delivered or rescheduled or cancelled, lead time from order to delivery, workload of the team, etc) and execute a top in class delivery to Customer service from a quantitative and qualitative point of view
• Manage the workload of the team by planning the activities to follow the company strategy for the seasonal picks (eg Ramadan, Hala Feb, Holidays, Back to Schools etc) and for campaign and promotions identified (Ecommerce Anniversary, Mega Promo, etc)
• Conducting regular meetings and ongoing updates about the current work status with internal ecommerce teams and management
• Work closely with internal groups (marketing, merchandising, finance, IT, etc) and external team (3rd party, warehousing, fulfilment).
