Performs operator level and DS/GS maintenance, such as troubleshooting, engine repair, main alternator, overhauls, and performs general services as prescribed by the manufacture. Exhibits superior workmanship and focuses upon a quality end product.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
1. Performs the full range of organization level maintenance; scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance; troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on ESPE Equipment.
2. Prepares appropriate maintenance forms and records for accountability.
3. Maintains accountability and serviceability of assigned tool sets and equipment.
4. Coordinates movement of Equipment for repair.
5. Ensures requests for repair parts are properly prepared and forwarded to the supply support activity.
6. Monitors repair parts usage to determine if current stock levels are adequate for maintaining repair schedule.
7. Provides equipment-operating assistance to users.
8. Implements lock-out and tag-out procedures demonstrating the safety requirements for operations and equipment and a commitment to personnel safety.
9. Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
1. Materials used includes: solvent, fuel, lubricants, coolant, paint, belts, hoses and wire.
2. Equipment used includes: mechanics hand tools, pneumatic tools, welder, grinder, torch, diagnostic, and test equipment.
