Main Purpose of Job:
To manage the business intelligence activities within the Marketing Department by supervising the Market Research, Competition Intelligence, Data Mining and Budgeting & Reporting teams. The role holder is responsible to provide support to all marketing and commercial units in the form of reports, behavioral analysis, financial and budgeting support and market data.
Job Objectives:
1.Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Commercial (Marketing) strategy and plans in order to ensure alliance with the company’s business line needs and objectives.
2. Ensure that the unit / department objectives are effectively communicated across the unit / department and a line of sight is created between individual jobholders and the departmental / sector strategy.
3.Supervise the day-to-day activities related to business intelligence by providing expertise, encouraging and ensuring teamwork and aligning work processes.
4.Contribute to the development of Commercial (Marketing Planning & Development) policies, procedures and guidelines and participate in overseeing their implementation.
5.Participate in recommending the Marketing Planning & Development related unit budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget to highlight any variances for effective alignment.
6.Plan the annual and quarterly market researches in coordination with the Marketing Planning & Development Senior Manager to accommodate all Commercial and other sectors’ requirements.
7.Monitor and ensure consistency and accuracy of reports generated to BI.
8.Provide regular and ad hoc management reports with analyses and comments for the Commercial Sector.
9.Liaise with Marketing Communications as well as other units and communication agencies for successful implementation of corporate branding implementation.
