Strategic
1. Understand customers taste and preferences in HAC’s related markets.
2. Analyze competitive forces among other external environment factors in HAC’s related markets.
3. Analyze, develop and manages the LED Lighting Portfolios and product roadmap for the HAC markets.
4. Build and maintain HAC LED Lighting product line strategy.
5. Translate HAC LED Lighting product line strategy into clear and articulated business objectives and KPIs.
6. Coordinates with key stakeholders to build market leading, profitable offering.
7. Build pricing strategy for LED lighting products in coordination with related stakeholders.
Operational
1. Collects insights and market data as inputs into LED Lighting portfolio strategy.
2. Collaborates with marketing to launch products into the HAC markets.
3. Provide input on product costs in order to make collective decisions on excess and obsolete inventories.
4. Works with sales (showrooms and projects) and commercial teams to build appropriate demand and supply plans.
5. Produce, maintain and update annual forecast
6. Coordinates communications with partners to address quality and technical performance related issues.
7. Identifies and coordinates cost improvement and leverage other ongoing programs with commercial team.
8. Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs.
9. Responsible for maintaining competitive product information. Coordinates regular competitive technical product analyses, identifies areas of advantages and weaknesses.
10. Provides technical information for collateral materials, and reviews documents to ensure accuracy of technical information and reference.
11. Reports future and current market size developments and industry trends and translates them into actions with product roadmap and product strategy.
12. Monitors legal, government and regulatory issues pertaining to LED Lighting product in HAC markets.
13. Conduct sales product awareness training for related HAC staff when needed.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
People Management
1. The ability to lead and influence cross functional teams to buy-in and pursuit the achievement of HAC LED Lighting Products strategy.
2. Establish the performance plans for direct subordinates.
3. Allocate work to subordinates and ensure that subordinates are aware and familiar with assigned tasks, responsibilities, and required outputs.
4. Drive the engagement and satisfaction of all subordinates through holding periodic meetings to discuss the achievements, address any subordinates issues and/or concerns, and provide feedback.
