Responsible for handling and managing all the organizations’ legal matters and ensuring
that the Company operates within the law at all times. The employee will be able to offer counsel on a variety of issues, and ensure legal compliance at all times.
Business Development Responsibilities:
1. Identify and meet potential clients by growing and leveraging network
2. Work with relevant teams to develop contracts based on client needs
3. Negotiate, write, and execute agreements and contracts
Operational Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a track record of all company contacts and follow up on renewals and terminations of leases
2. Provide legal advice and compliance on all contractual relations with clients, suppliers and service providers
4. Ensure full compliance with the New Companies Law and CMA, including managing of
quarterly reporting
5. Followup with CMA / KSE regulations and ensure Company is up to date and keep abreast
of legislative changes impacting the organization and ensuring compliance
6. Provide full supervision on lawsuits filed by and against the company including representation of the company at the courts, MOI and all other governmental bodies
7. Coordinate with outsourced legal offices and teams as the main point of contact
8. Provide legal advice internally to relevant departments as needed, including but not limited to Human Resources, Finance and Business Development
Financial Responsibilities:
1. Work with CFO to prepare annul budgetary forecast and ensure that the same is adhered to.
2. Improve overall efficiency of the organization and reduce costs.
Reporting
1. Submit monthly reports from all projects and follow up on all issues.
2. Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management and other business functions to evaluate legal risks and assess impact of certain actions
3. Any other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet
the business exigencies.
