We are seeking an experienced Oil Testing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transformer oil testing and hands-on experience with oil testing equipment. This role requires technical expertise, analytical skills, and attention to detail to ensure accurate testing and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform transformer oil testing and analysis to assess the quality and condition of the oil.
- Operate and maintain oil testing equipment such as dielectric strength testers, dissolved gas analyzers, and moisture content analyzers.
- Conduct diagnostic testing to detect contamination, degradation, or potential faults in transformer oil.
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for review.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols during testing procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to recommend necessary corrective actions based on test findings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tests performed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in transformer oil testing.
- Familiarity with oil testing procedures, equipment, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
