a) Accountabilities:
- Design and develop instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas projects, including control systems, sensors, and automation equipment.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including instrumentation schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant).
- Select appropriate instruments, materials, and components to meet specific project needs and environmental conditions.
- Ensure that all instrumentation designs comply with industry standards, such as ISA, IEC, and relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams to ensure integrated and efficient system designs.
- Conduct site surveys to assess instrumentation requirements, installation conditions, and system upgrades.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance support for installed instrumentation systems.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOP studies to ensure safe and effective operation.
b) Qualifications:
- University Degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.Sc. Engg. / B. Tech. / B.E. / B.S.) or Higher Degree.
- Specialized experience and high skill in Oil & Gas, Surface Facilities, onshore facilities, cross-country pipelines, etc. as applicable to the discipline.
