We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and entries in the general ledger
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Supporting in Preparation of monthly staff salaries, calculation of leave salaries, & all
- Journal entries relating to salaries.
- Assisting in Calculation of end of Service salary & indemnity.
- Calculation of Employees mobile expenses (Company Mobiles) on
- monthly basis.
- Assisting in preparing year end Balance Sheet Schedules.
- Miscellaneous work required by CFO.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports
- Review and reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to identify errors and discrepancies
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting
- Provide support during annual audits and tax inspections
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect sensitive data
- Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Kuwaiti accounting regulations and tax laws is a plus
