A Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing team in planning and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the hotel and drive revenue. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and a strong attention to detail. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a good understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies to promote the hotel and increase brand awareness.
- Create and manage content for the hotel's website, social media platforms, and other online channels.
- Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including designing templates, writing copy, and tracking performance.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as trade shows, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in analyzing marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and operations, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
- Assist with budget management and tracking of marketing expenses.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in marketing.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related role in hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
- Experience with content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
