- Builds and maintains application server compatible with Windows and report to Applications Supervisor.
- Ensures the efficient operation of production systems including database, application and web servers.
- Establishes job automation using scripts and other tools.
- Ensure proper backup coverage and monitor backup quality with documented test restorations.
- Monitors system and application availability and performance information.
- Maintain operating system and application current patch levels on all servers
- Collaborates with hardware, OS, database administrators technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environment
- Provides technical support to web designers and developers to assist in operating server technologies.
- Develops work plans and track/report status of assigned projects/tasks
- Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis of basic software issues
- Responds to requests received by help desk in timely manner.
- Provides support in Quality Assurance testing and testing of recovery plans.
