Responsibilities: Involves planning of spare parts as part of supply chain management , purchases and stock management based on sales for forecast and previous history. The Job requires analyses of current stock in spare parts and wide exposure in the industry of heavy & industrial Machinery.
The role needs wide exposure in the industry of heavy machineries equipment spare parts and aftermarket data , experiance in details of parts and catalogues studies and orders related to wheel loader , excavator , forklifts , trucks , earthmoving equipment's and other industrial or automotive equipment's is needed.
Effectively forecast & plan the inventory to keep the holding cost at the lowest level and increase the return.
- Analysis cost of parts , prepare costing sheets and updates
- Handle Custom clearance , purchasing and sales promotion
- Logistics , shipping , invoicing and LCs communications
- Run inventory reports on daily and monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of parts performance.
- Improve the inventory management arrangements and control movement of parts stock and generate reports..
- Watch & control demand verses supply on terms of Spare parts , Manufacture requirements verses market requirements
- Analyze purchasing strategy for the organization by maintain consumable stock and dividing fast moving verses slow movement stock or the demand verses supply trends
- Identify high and low turn inventory items and maintain communication reports for sales team.
- Supervise visual validation process of received parts to comply with description, package and quantity reflected in the original supplier invoice.
- Update the stock of received parts shipment into in-house Database Management System
- Monitor the measures to deal with existing inventory and take the necessary steps to minimize the accumulation of non-moving inventory.
- Analyze the daily movement of the inventory and prepare purchase orders accordingly.
- Follow up on back orders.
- Ensure keeping safety stock standards and plan the purchase orders to minimize the cost of purchase.
- Prepare purchase order from required vendors , manufactures and handle different procurement activities
