- Assist doctor with examinations and maintain patient charts. Perform preliminary examination of patient. Explain eye exercises to customers.
- Fit and dispense glasses and contact lens prescriptions for patients Performs various tests to determine vision loss.
- Starts, Calibrates and operates the LASIK machine, during LASIK procedures.
- Perform the following ophthalmological tests under guidance of the present ophthalmologist
Ø Corneal topography and pachymetry.
Ø Optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Ø Biometry.
Ø Fundus photography.
- Report to the head of the department in case of any malfunction in any of the machines in the department.
- Participate & Facilitate the Quality improvement projects and accreditation programs.
