The Role:
Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all financial data and transactions such as accurate and timely statutory & management reporting related accounting entries for assigned entities in Middle East. Whilst these primary skill sets are required, this role will be focused towards the General Ledger, Fixed Assets Accounting, Rent Accounting, Inventory Accounting, monthly reporting and annual closing of books.
You will be aligned to a specific area of the accounting team and will be having responsibility to collate, account, review and report financial information for broad areas as follows :
Accounting & Monthly closing:
Able to handle the complete accounting of an entity independently.
Finalization of accounting for monthly and annual closing
Knowledge of accounting standards & practices
Posting and accounting transaction in accordance with companys Chart of Account.
Ensure correct application of company policy and procedures
Has to ensure integrity and correctness of all accounting data and transactions
Able to meet strict deadlines
Audit & Tax:
Capacity to independently manage the annual audit and finalization of audit reports
Substantiate and authenticate transactions by reviewing all supporting documents
Good understanding of tax norms and ensure to meet tax dead lines
Others:
Age preferably between 28 to 35
Minimum Qualification - B. Com. + 7 year experience in Retail Entity in account department.
Hands on experience of Oracle ERP System and Excel
Good Interpersonal skills and team worker
