• Receives the job card and understands the required inspection to be carried out as per the manufacturer’s standards.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair engine, transmission, chassis, steering & suspension, heating & AC, electrical and braking operations
• Remove & replace engine & transmission assemblies and all related accessories within a specified time frame;
• Coordinate with service advisors, other technicians, and customers to plan work and report results ;
• Diagnose the source of problems;
• Use electronic testing equipment;
• Read and interpret the output of diagnostic equipment;
• Fix problems once they are diagnosed;
• Use technical manuals, read charts and diagrams;
• Repair, overhaul, or replace systems and parts like transmissions or carburetors
• Doing routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotation;
• Cleaning up the worksite and looking after your tools;
