Retail is a fast paced, dynamic and often pressurized environment, so attention to detail and the ability to manage pressure and large workloads is vital. This role is key to ensure space & shelf fill is maximized, product visibility is high and adherence to planograms are followed across all stores to drive sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of shelf space planograms by category
- Ensure planogram takes into account buying data, sales trends, consumer behavior
- Create & update weekly planogram tracker
- Ensure planogram implementation in stores
- Liaising with store operations/VM to implement planograms with regular store visits & planning sessions
- Working closely with buyers/merchandisers to update planograms based on stock outs, new collections, sale & promotional periods, seasonal updates
- Working closely with buyers at planning stages to ensure buy to fit
- Regular visits to competitors to keep on top of display trends
- Report on distribution of articles available across all showrooms
- Monitor stocks in display locations and update merchandising
