Basic function:
As a Cost Accountant Clerk, you are responsible to check all Production reports, control transfers between locations (Production, warehouses and outlets) in a smooth and effective way and in compliance with all policies and procedures, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Duties and responsibilities:
- work closely with Purchase, Store and production departments to ensure that transactions are coded correctly to jobs so that all cost are easy to track.
- Follows up with other departments on any outstanding and reconciles Daily/Weekly tasks before month end
- Prepare and record transfers / Production transactions in system. - Conducting and assist inventory count on weekly/monthly basis. - Spot checking of applied recipes (Standard Vs. Actual).
- Sharing in Inventory cost analysis and preparation of journal entries. - Keep track of all supplier pending invoices and goods receiving.
- Check suppliers' invoices against attached purchase order and other supporting documents.
- Other tasks as assigned by Cost control manager.
