Job Purpose:Manage, develop and lead the implementation of IT strategies, policies and procedures that ensure the company has the necessary resources to realize its business plans in the short, medium and longer term. Responsible for the provision of full range of IT service and support to the company business areas including: Data Center, Application Support and Network Services.
Ensure that the IT services are provided in line with the company guidelines, policies and standards. Responsible for effective supervision and development of his staff.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations, IT assets.Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- IT staff management, recruit, train and coach employees, communicate job expectations and appraise their performance.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
