Ensure efficient purchasing and delivery of goods and services to support the business operations.
Experience in oil & gas Sector with local kuwait market /vendors is highly preferred.
• Purchasing of goods and services for business divisions from local/ foreign sources, as per the company policy.
• Negotiation with vendors to obtain best price and delivery.
• Coordination with Stores and Finance to ensure smooth purchase flow.
• Prepare necessary reports for the division.
• Consistently update self with the standards, rules & regulations in the country.
• Management of purchased stock costs and supporting reductions in costs. Optimizing the supply base to improving supplier delivery performance and service levels.
• Agreement of the business strategy and subsequent implementation of this strategy.
• Coordinating the selection, introduction and identification of new suppliers in line with current procedures leading to business growth
• Preparing the necessary orders dispatch documents.
• Arranging deliveries and distribution to customers.
• Arranging with transporters for getting the required trucks.
