ROLE OBJECTIVES
(1) Assist with the development, management, analysis and continual improvement of the organisations IMS across the Pace Offices and active projects, in line with established industry standards and requirements.
(2) Assist with the development and enhance operational processes and supporting documents, in line with established industry standards.
(3) Assist with promoting and strengthening the quality culture across the regional business and active projects.
(4) Assist in developing and enhance quality monitoring, auditing and rectification.
(5) Assist in ensuring projects are delivering towards the quality expectations in accordance with established industry standards.
(6) Assist in developing and enhancing quality training and quality induction.
(7) Function as the lead for QA in the absence of the QA Manager.
DETAILED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the following across the organisation and projects:
1) The development of the new Pace’s Integrated Management System (IMS);
2) The implementation and awareness trainings of the IMS processes;
3) Provide guidance and support to the department and projects as deemed necessary;
4) The quality performance reporting and follow up of determined improvement actions;
5) Identify areas for improvement and follow through towards the updating of related process documentation;
6) Support towards the external certification audits and client audits as relevant;
7) Driving the quality culture across the organisation.
Independent responsibility to carry out:
1) Provide IMS guidance and support to the departments and projects as deemed relevant;
2) Provide direct support to Project Managers during project start up (customising the IMS for the project) and during project demobilisation (final quality checks and archiving);
3) Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits across the organisation and projects to measure the compliance and effectiveness of the implemented Pace IMS;
4) Provide auditing support to the projects to review and assess sub-parties.
5) Ensure all QA duties are continued in the absence of the QA Manager.
Note: The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties, which may be reasonably expected and form part of the function of the job.
