•Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
•Greet customers in a courteous manner.
•Assign jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.
•Prepare & review all repair work orders for accuracy and completeness.
•Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices and provide instruction as required.
•Assist in the appraisal of repair work coming into the Service Department.
•Advise Service Manager of all customer complaints.
•Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all technicians.
•Coordinate the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer and obtain their approval.
•Prepare repair orders and ensure that they are completed on time.
•Explain and handover the workshop order to the Maintenance Technician or Certified Diagnosis Technician.
•Check the need for and availability of external work and, where necessary, book external work.
•Coordinate pickup time and date, method and location with the customer.
