SNC-Lavalin is looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer, Utilities to join an ongoing Refinery project in Al Zour, Kuwait.
- Provide specialist knowledge and advice relating to process commissioning & startup on SWS, ARUs and AGFs.
- Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the process
Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality - Partake in client and subcontractor meetings
- Verification of check sheets & verification of completed work.
- Lead and participate in HSSE Safety Leadership walk downs / workshops
- Lead and participate in Flawless Delivery Leadership walk downs / workshops
- Always demonstrate personal HSSE leadership and excellent HSE behavior and ensure that safety expectations are communicated and maintained
- Attend and execute the Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) when required
- Ensure all packages have clear defined preservation requirements identified and applied.
- Responding to engineering site queries where clarification of design is required and liaise with engineering contractor where a response to TQ’s as required.
- Ensuring that commissioning procedures and paperwork is completed to enable a smooth hand over of systems to Operations.
