This role is for a senior business oriented marketer who is in tune with the local economy dynamics. The candidate will identify and analyze salient and sound parallel business opportunities, and develop them for commercial expansion. Ideally with a leasing background, the candidate should possess strong technical skills and a track record of clear success stories in previous employment. With a good command over best practices, this change agent will formulate concrete plans for new business lines within set time-frames.
•Identify development and growth areas in the leasing and transport arena; cultivate industry contacts and contacts with other players in the supply chain to seize opportunities.
•Develop project feasibility with short and long-term objectives to meet business strategy.
•Assess new business opportunities for commercial expansion.
•Anticipate changes in market trends and future challenges.
•Support the various sales channels and expand the product line-up.
•Formulate budgetary requirements, devising action plans and timelines then taking them to the operational level.
•Develop in depth awareness of the market; paying particular attention to new industry features, technical developments, trends, competitor analysis, pricing modules and promotional programs. Channel this insight to the respective team(s) and management.
•Understand well the role of online, digital and social media and apply them to work for the business.
•Prepare and defend business plans and resource requirements.
•Fulfill Key Performance Indicators.
