Purpose of Job:
Plans and manages all aspects of an organization's public relations activities and ensures that all external communications result in positive public relations.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities include the Following:
- Designing, writing and producing the company’s publications such as press releases, annual report, articles, presentations, publicity brochures or any other publications.
- Keeping company’s web sites up-to-date.
- Archiving the company’s publications and maintaining records for the operational activities and the financial results of company.
- The job entails a setting communication strategies with a focus on PR (Including CSR) and IR (Soft side: Annual report, website etc) whilst utilizing high level of communication skills, writing skills, strategic mind-set, and continuous development setting proper structure and focusing on efficiency. Strategic management of corporate communications for the Company on a macro level and for the Kuwaiti base on a micro level.
- Handling the full strategic planning and execution of corporate communications including advertising, Media Relations, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility in addition to Investor Relations.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders for the Company namely the public, Investors community, local, regional and international media, awarding bodies, and other bodies in order to increase understanding and support for the Company’s direction, performance, and financial story.
- Work on developing and disseminating effectively the financial story to the defined stakeholders, which is in line with the overall corporate communications direction of the Company working through a mix of the soft side of investor relations, public relations and media relations activities.
- Create long-term relations with the PR/Advertising Agencies as well as the community (NGOs, Non-Profit, Society Groups, Charities, Government Organizations etc.)
- Develop and maintain good relations with the Media
- Develop PR content for editorials, advertorial, documentaries, info-commercials and other PR communications tools and review the same with the direct manager.
- Maintain Internal Interactions, participating in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service.
- Represent the Company publicly in press conferences and other PR/CSR forums.
- Create and manage Company-wide events.
- Work and assist directly in the creation of PR and CSR strategies and formulation of execution plans and yearly calendars.
- Evaluate and create sponsorship proposals selecting most innovative in line with CSR direction.
- Maintain a clear, consistent communication program that highlights the Company strategic priorities, financial metrics and goals that are most significant and maintain productive credible relationships with analysts, investors and IR professionals and align it with Financial PR direction.
