- Overlook all kitchen activities on a regular basis and prepare report.
- Attend any maintenance related to the kitchen operation.
- Supervises non cooking personnel such as kitchen helper, to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
- Handles and trains others to clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
- Supervises COOK and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.
- Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies..
- Awareness of orders, delivery and stock.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for all purchases against daily orders.
- Follow up with suppliers for delivery.
- Focusing on Cleanness and hygien.
- Assist head chef on purchase requisition and needs.
- Attend food complaints from Customers.
- Awareness about food expiry.
- Visually inspect, select and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl and other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.
- Other kitchen duties as assigned by the manager.
